This is a great concern for me, not only the amount of (good ground water) they will pump out of the ground to be used for this project. But also the concern of what happens when it is gone. How will it be replaced and the impact on all of the people that are also using this same ground water, I have been told that they will be supplied with CAP water. This is not the same quality and should not be considered as an alternative. What about our wildlife habitat and future drinking water sources for residential use.

It is a great concern of the potentail of toxic heavy metals and other chemicals leaching into and running off into other water sources. I would like you to test my well so that we can keep track of any pollutants getting into our water source.

I have chosen to live in this area because of the excellent air quality. With tailing's and waste piles there will be a lot of dust. We get a lot of wind and this will impact the Tucson basin and surrounding residential areas. I do not want to see the dust in the air and have to breath it.

I have chosen to live in this area because of the excellent air quality. With all of the trucks that would be traveling on the roads and highways this will also be adding to the air pollution.

With daily blasting to remove the rock covering the ore body, this will add a great deal of noise pollution. I love to hike and picnic in the area and this Will not be pleasant with all of the blasting noise. Not to mention the added noise of machinery and trucks.

I love the State Highway 83, this is designated as a State Scenic Highway, for 3 miles out of the 24 mile trip from I-10 to Sonoita. The 3 mile segment includes the portion of the highway there it gains its greatest elevation about the surrounds land. This will be dominated by the mine, instead of beautiful rolling hills and grasslands, oaks and rugged ridge line.

I love my trips to Tucson and home because of the beautiful peaceful drive. With all of the added traffic and trucks this will be a dangerous drive and not pleasant at all. I understand that the truck traffic would increase to 600-700 per wekk, every ten to fifteen minutes 24/7. This would greatly impact this commute.

This is going to impact all of us that have chosen to buy property and live in this area. I don't think people will want to buy and or homes in an area that has this kind of project going on for years. I sure would not voluntarily buy a home or land and have to deal with the water, air and noise pollution. This is not right it is taking a beautiful place to live and having a great impact on all that live hear and also visit.
